Gabardine 100% Cotton Deep Forest Green

Perfect for your spring/autumn trench coat or jacket! This is a heavy, structured and stable gabardine, but with a soft hand in 100% cotton.

The fabric is perfect for short and long jackets such as trench, child jacket, work wear jacket, denim jacket etc. Since gabardine is a twill weave, the fabric can be used as a thick denim and can function as jeans/trousers and overalls.

Gabardine is a tightly woven twill that has somewhat water-repellent properties (but is not waterproof) and is the original trench coat fabric, originally developed by Thomas Burberry in the 19th century.

• Washing instructions : Machine wash at 30 degrees delicate cycle, hang to dry immediately after washing and iron at low temperature. Do not tumble dry. We always recommend pre-washing fabric before you start cutting/sewing.
